This year, the Center of Innovation for Aerospace is teaming up with the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership to connect you with the best resources to grow your business in the Aerospace, Automotive, and Defense industries. SOAR 2018 is two back-to-back conferences – the first focused on automotive, and the second on aerospace & defense. Both will feature Fast Pitch sessions with prime contractors, networking opportunities, and educational sessions to help small business owners increase their exposure within the community, as well as grow their business and boost profitability.

Student pilots will receive detailed instruction on aerodynamics, flight physics, communications, aerospace history, situational awareness, Newton’s Laws of Motion, flight planning, chart use, teamwork, decision making, risk assessment, aerospace math, Science and Technology, forces of flight, Bernoulli’s Principle, internal combustion engines, turbine engines, pilot licensing, and careers in aviation.Students will get a chance to fly Cessnas as well as USAF jets, in clear and bad weather conditions in the Mission Quest Flight Simulation Lab. They will fly two combat sorties as well as fly WWII aircraft.
