NASA RERC STEM Educator Workshop Series

The STEM Educator Workshop Series provides hands-on professional development workshops to pre-service and in-service K-12 educators, university educators, home school and informal educators connecting STEM disciplines with NASA resources so that educators may infuse NASA education products into classroom curricula. This program helps support the efforts of the Georgia Department of Education’s focus on STEM Education.

Annual GA NASA STEM Conference

Each year in August, the Museum of Aviation hosts the Annual Georgia NASA STEM Conference to kick-off the NASA RERC STEM Educator Workshop Series. The conference features an Annual STEM Teacher of the Year (now the Georgia STEM Team of the Year) Awards and provides Georgia STEM educators with a full day of STEM focused hands-on activities, demonstrations, and presentations by NASA Education Specialists and other NASA program members.  This conference has STEM content for both K-12 and college level educators.
