The Georgia Space Grant Consortium awards fellowships to outstanding Georgia Tech students who demonstrate a committment to advancing scientific and engineering knowledge both in themselves and in others.

The application deadline for the next semester is 60 days before the last day of the previous semester. That is, Fall applications are due early June, Spring applications are due mid October, and Summer applications are due early March. All application materials must be received by this date.

Selections are made by the end of the semester, and you will be notified by email if selected.

Please sumbit all supporting documents to By the application deadline, we must receive:

  • A copy of your unofficial transcript. If selected, we will request an official transcript for verification.
  • An up-to-date resume.
  • A personal statement addressing your need and use of the fellowship and your future plans.
  • Three reference letters. At least one reference must be from a teacher and/or professor.
