STEM Summer Camps

STEM Summer Camps at the Museum of Aviation offer Pre K – 12th grade students six weeks of hands-on, STEM and History focused learning experiences to choose from. Rigorous, goal setting experiences challenge students to solve problems while highlighting career opportunities and workforce development strategies. Summer Camps are offered one week at a time, for six weeks, students may register for as many weeks as desired.

  • All summer camp classes are Monday – Friday, 9 am – 12 noon, $135 each
  • National STEM Academy at the Museum of Aviation, Warner Robins, GA

Please register your student for the grade they are entering in the fall of 2018.

Preregistration is necessary for all camps.  Spaces are limited.  Please register early.  All camps are open unless otherwise notated.

Camping Adventures Investigate the wonders of the outdoors while “camping” inside at the Museum of Aviation.

Meet Smokey Bear, and learn about fire safety.

“Buggin’ out” Whether you love them or loathe them, we need Bugs! Come and explore why bugs are so important in this creepy crawly camp.

Girls of AmericaStep back in time and discover the world of Cécile Ray, Nanea, Mary Ellen, Kailey and Gabriela

Features the popular book series and hands on activities.

Advanced Mission Quest Flight Simulation Lab

Students must have at least one prior Mission Quest class.

This course focuses on advanced flight principles. In addition to flying, students will learn how to fly Cessna’s using proper traffic pattern and instrument approach.

The Jr. Volunteer Academy is taking registrations for 11th-12th graders.  Registration fee is $15 each and includes  MOA  t-shirt. To register, please fill out a summer camp registration form and include weeks you are available in the ‘Course Date’ section.

Summer Camps are active, hands-on, STEM experiences.
