In 2025, the Georgia Space Grant Consortium (GSGC) proudly celebrates its 35th anniversary, marking over three decades of transformative impact on STEM education and aerospace innovation across the state. Established in 1989 and managed by Georgia Tech, GSGC has grown from four founding affiliates to a robust network of over 21 institutions and six partner organizations. Through federal support, the consortium has empowered thousands of students and educators annually with fellowships, scholarships, internships, and hands-on STEM experiences—from K-12 outreach to advanced research initiatives.
