: Spelman College is an all-female, Historically Black College and University located in Atlanta. Ranked as one of the nation’s top liberal arts colleges, Spelman College shares cross-registration with its undergraduate partners, offering Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees and Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in a variety of academic programs. Students can choose BS degrees in areas such as biochemistry, engineering, computer and information systems, and environmental science.A unique program is their Dual Degree Engineering Program (DDEP). This program combines a liberal arts degree with an engineering degree. Students enrolled in this program spend three years here and spend another two years at an engineering institution.
